They’re here to save the world… on PS3 and PS2.

PLAYSTATION 3 and PlayStation 2 owners get to strap on their unlicensed nuclear accelerators on June 19, 2009.

They’re back! Twenty years after their last big screen appearance in Ghostbusters II, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson are reunited in Ghostbusters: The Videogame for PS3 and PS2 on June 19, 2009, and PSP later this year.

The game features a Career mode where you control a new recruit in a brand new story penned by the writers of the original films, Aykroyd and Ramis, in which everyone’s favourite paranormal investigators check out a spate of disturbances surrounding a new Gozer exhibition.

Rip up destructible environments with your Proton Pack to catch familiar enemies, such as Slimer and the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, and search for secrets and clues using your PKE meter.

Ghostbusters: The Videogame also features four player online co-op, letting you and three others control the original quartet on maps specifically designed for the mode - expect simulateneous cries of “don’t cross the streams” across the globe.

Be the first to play Ghostbusters when it comes to PS3 and PS2 on June 19, 2009 and look out for the PSP version later in the year. You can also whet your appetite with the first High Definition release of the classic original movie on Blu-ray Disc.
