With great bands selected by Qmagazine and an immense AV backdrop provided by PlayStation, the Queen's Head is a 'mustvisit'in the newWilliam's Green.
This year Queens Head Stage will kick off with a performance from Maximo Park and with artists such as Elbow, Pigeon Detectives and Santogold having played on stagelast year we're hoping for some great bandsas weanxiouslywaitfor the line up to be announced.
Not only isthe Queen's Head stage the place to see great bands playing up close and to feel the vibrations of the guitars rippling through your bones, it's also bringing the Glastonbury crowd a great backdrop of imagery throughout the days and if that's not enough... Located next to the Queen's Head, new for 2009, is the SingStar Snug.
Set within a Papa Kata tent, the SingStar Snug will be providing entertainment both day and night. You can relax throughout the day listening to live acoustic sets and dance the night away as the DJs keep you moving into the early hours of the morning.............
Want more than just music? Each day you could be one of four performers to strut your stuff and send the revellers into a frenzy on the SingStar stage, all glammed up with mirror balls and feather bowers. Make sure you visit the SingStar booths next to the Snug, enjoy a game of SingStar and possibly be one of four performing acts.
The activities do not stop there. With different themed nights inside the Snug, including dress up costumes and free giveaways, we kick off Glastonbury with a Queen theme on Thursday night. Dig out your tight trousers and vests, draw on a moustache and make your way down to the Snug for the start of Glastonbury 2009
