Journalists flock to PlayStation Home's Events Space

Selected games journalists took a break from the mayhem of the Leipzig Games Convention to attend an exclusive selection of Q&A sessions in PlayStation Home.

Following the success of the first media briefing held within PlayStation Home at E3, selected members of the gaming press were invited into the online service to grill the avatars of first party developers and the President of Worldwide Studios, Shuhei Yoshida, at the Leipzig Games Convention.

Representatives from Evolution Studios, Guerrilla, Slant Six Games and Liverpool Studios were on hand to talk about Motorstorm Pacific Rift, Killzone 2, SOCOM: Confrontation and WipEout HD respectively. Shuhei Yoshida recapped the big announcements made at the Sony Media Briefing, held two days previously, and outlined his vision for the future of PlayStation.

Attending journalists made their way to the PlayStation Events Space within PlayStation Home, where they chatted and played mini-games while waiting for Q&A appointments. When their time came, they were invited into specially branded rooms for Killzone 2 and MotorStorm Pacific Rift and a Leipzig themed space for SOCOM: Confrontation and WipEout HD, and were able conduct interviews and view the latest trailers.
