E3 and PlayStation

The Electronics Entertainment Expo, also known as E3, is one of the longest running events in the game industry calendar.

First held in 1995, E3 has become the setting over the years for some of the most important announcements in the evolution of PlayStation. In recent times, it has been the chosen location for revealing PSP and PLAYSTATION 3, as well as countless software titles.

In 2008, E3 returns to the Los Angeles Convention Centre from July 15 to July 17, and should be an altogether different affair after last year's series of intimate events held in and around Santa Monica.

Building on the announcements made at PlayStation Day, held in London in May 2008, there are bound to be a number of exciting insights into the future of PlayStation.

Keep checking back at eu.playstation.com for all the major news as well as interviews and hands on impressions of some of the key software titles that will be unveiled.
