Take a fresh look at PlayStation Home

Hang out in the updated Home Square and Shopping Centre to discover brand new minigames and community features.

Home Square and the Shopping Centre were two of the first spaces to open their doors when the PlayStation Home open beta launched in 2008. Since then, the online social gaming service on PlayStation 3 has grown massively with the introduction of new spaces, events, games and hundreds of wardrobe and furniture items.

With that in mind, those original spaces have been given a fresh lick of paint and a host of new community features.

Home Square has been completely rebuilt and is now bigger and more interactive. It contains three brand new mini-games: Supa-Fun Robo-Goalie Time!!, Shooting Hoops and Tug Of War. Best of all, these mini-games can now be rotated, allowing the PS Home team to introduce new ones or bring back old favourites to fit the needs of the community.

Also new is the Polling Booth, where you can provide valuable feedback on a wide range of topics, such as your favourite spaces in PS Home or your favourite game of the moment. There are also two ticker style notices in the new Home Square – one displaying what is showing in Home Cinema and one providing general updates, making it easier than ever to keep up to date with the latest developments and additions.

The Shopping Centre has gone al fresco and is now an outdoor space with shopfronts taking you to Threads, Estates and other favourites. At the centre of the space are some chess tables to help you and a friend unwind and decide what to buy. The Stuff store is now open, featuring items with special functionality.

The all new Home Square and Shopping Centre are open now and waiting for your visit on your PS3. Take a fresh look at PlayStation Home today – and bring your friends.
