PSP Essentials: God Of War: Chains Of Olympus

Venture from the Gates of Hades to the Depths of Tartarus in this epic chapter of the God Of War series.

In this prequel to the events of God Of War and God Of War II on PS2, Kratos wages a bloody crusade across the lands of the past in the name of Olympus after denouncing his service to Ares, the God who tricked him into murdering his own wife and child.

Journeying to lands no mortal has ever set foot upon, Kratos does battle with hordes of the most feared creatures of Greek mythology as the world is hurled into an eternal darkness when the Gods are rendered utterly powerless. As this breathtaking story unfolds Kratos makes choices that hinge on personal redemption and determine the fate of the ancient world as he knows it.

Dark days lie ahead for the Ghost of Sparta.

Best bit:
Chains Of Olympus's first boss, the Basilisk, sets the scene for the titanic battles to come as Kratos brawls with the giant lizard at the gates of a huge castle, dodging its searing hot fiery breath and razor taloned paw stomps.
