The war against the Chimera rages on in the Resistance 3 space of PlayStation Home. You may have noticed a rather ominous-looking manhole cover in PlayStation Home on PlayStation 3 recently, being inspected by a father and his young son. The pair have heard that the Chimera lurking below are about to move on and are preparing to lower themselves into the Resistance 3 space to collect supplies. Little do they know, the enemy are still very much present, waiting for more hopeful survivors to try their luck. From 8 September 2011, the manhole cover will open and you can delve into the 18-rated Resistance 3 space to see if you can survive. You'll find yourself sheltering in a dishevelled diner which has been destroyed by a brutal battle, while outside the real danger awaits. Take to the streets and complete various timed challenges to earn rewards. Weapons, clothes and items for your PlayStation Home apartment are all up for grabs if you can avoid the wrath of the feral Chimera and the regimented Chimeran Death Squads that patrol the streets. Search buildings and rubble to find special items and avoid a sticky end at the hands of your enemy. Head to PlayStation Home and throw yourself into the war with the Chimera.
