Super fan Rosie Lawrence sang and danced her way to glory against Pineapple Dance Studio's Louie Spence.
Louie Spence, one of the dance industry’s most unique talents has a reputation that precedes him. Known affectionately as ‘Lay out Lou with liquid legs and a lisp’, he attributes his astounding flexibility to his privileged council estate upbringing, where his Mum, Pat, used to fold him up into an MFI cabin bed. He enjoyed an illustrious career as a dancer before breaking into television in 2006 as a judge on Cirque de Celebrit and he is now a household name and tabloid favourite after appearing in Sky1's Pineapple Dance Studios documentary where he unquestionably stole the show.
The SingStar community was asked via My SingStar Online to perform and upload a track from Louie's What's Hot list. Louie loved Rosie's performance and judged it to be the best from a shortlist of entries for it's artistic flair and excellent wig use. Rosie won a trip for her and a guest to London for a one-to-one SingStar Dance session with Louie himself and to attend the exclusive SingStar Dance launch party at Anaya in Mayfair.
Rosie grabbed the PlayStation Move for her dance off with Louie and after a few warm up tracks she overtook the diva extraordinaire to the moves of Ricky Martin’s’ Living the Vida Loca’... Rosie and Louie were joined by rock & pop royalty including Jade Jagger & Joe McElderry – favourite track of the night Salt n Pepper’s Push It... and they certainly did!
