Take a trip to Japan with eu.playstation.com and check out what’s on offer with PlayStation at Tokyo Game Show 2010.

Tokyo Game Show (TGS) 2010 fired PlayStation into the limelight with a heady mixture of newly announced titles and news of Blu-ray 3D disc playback support for PlayStation 3 hitting your systems soon.

From 21 September 2010, system software update 3.50 will give PS3 the ability to transport you to a world of stunning stereoscopic 3D movies in incredible High Definition. With a growing number of game titles which already support 3D, such as MotorStorm 3D Rift, WipEout HD, Super Stardust HD and the forthcoming Killzone 3 and MotorStorm Apocalypse, Blu-ray 3D disc playback means PS3 owners will be able to enjoy the total stereoscopic 3D home entertainment package.

Also shown at TGS 2010 were a number of new titles for the coming months and 2011, with 3D trailers of Everybody's Golf 5, FINAL FANTASY XIV, Metal Gear Solid: Rising and Gran Turismo 5.

Among the glowing line-up of games on show, Capcom announced the latest entry to the Devil May Cry series, DmC, co-developed with the Heavenly Sword team, Ninja Theory. Featuring a new style and fresh look for main character Dante, the intense action adventure game was joined by Capcom's other new action heavy arrival, Asura's Wrath.

All eyes were also on the spring 2011 re-release of PlayStation 2 classics ICO and Shadow of the Colossus on PlayStation 3, complete with dazzling High Definition visuals. They served as the perfect complement to the eagerly awaited PlayStation 3 follow-up, The Last Guardian, which was also shown off to attendees. You can check out the new trailer right here in anticipation of its late 2011 release.

Tokyo Game Show 2010 is just a small glimpse of what's to come on PlayStation. For more on these exciting new titles, keep your eyes glued to blog.eu.playstation and eu.playstation.com.
