The PlayStation community predicts which games will be big hits in 2010.
For this edition of Obsession Confessions, the PlayStation community looked deep into their crystal balls and told us which games will go on to define the year 2010. Here are their predictions in order of popularity, along with quotes from the official PlayStation Forums.
1. God of War III
"Kratos will carry out his revenge against the Gods of Mount Olympus, completing one of the most important PlayStation series." (zetatron, Spain)
2. Final Fantasy XIII
"It's time for a new RPG fantasy adventure that will grab you and not let go from beginning to end. Do you want to know what your PS3 is capable of? If so, then buy this game." (fantasyfreak, Netherlands)
3. Heavy Rain
"Heavy Rain is a unique and intriguing PS3 exclusive. After all of the trailers and previews, I still don't fully understand what it's about, which is great, as it adds an exciting mystery factor to it." (CalvertCrew, United Kingdom)
4. Gran Turismo 5
"Gran Turismo 5 for game of the year. Why? Well, let's face it... it's going to be amazing, isn't it?" (nextbigthing91, United Kingdom)
5. The Last Guardian
"You suffered for Yorda, you suffered for Agro and now you will suffer for Trico." (jeanbodin, Portugal)
6. Battlefield: Bad Company 2
"We don't know what is coming this autumn, but now, just before summer, it has to be Battlefield: Bad Company 2." (Neshy, Norway)
7. ModNation Racers
"The game of the year is ModNation Racers. It's incredibly innovative for the racing game world. Just the idea of creating a brand new circuit from scratch drives me crazy. I can't wait for it to be released on PS3." (Ofrollo, Italy)
8. Metal Gear Solid: Rising
"I don't know if this game will be released in 2010, but I really hope so. As always, the Metal Gear Solid series ranks highly." (bydont-25, France)
9. MAG
"I have played the Beta and it was amazing. Having 256 players on one server is absolutely smashing!" (neoisback-DB, Germany)
10. Red Dead Redemption
